you have to go out in the sun or it won't do anything. you have to be in the sun for 6-8 hours to see a significant difference.

well i read in a magazine you have to sit out in the sun for 8 hours to go 1 to 2 shades lighter but you have to sit in the sun for it to do anything

yea i think so but theres other ways to lighten your hair such as bleach, and/or this type of gel that lightens hair by just putting it on

YES YOU DO AND YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THAT BECAUSE THE SUN DOES SO MUCH DAMAGE TO YOUR SKIN. IT TAKES QUITE ALONG TIME FOR IT TO BLEACH OUT TOO. GO TO A BEAUTY SUPPLY AND DO IT RIGHT. TALK TO THE SALESGIRL FOR A RECOMMENDATION. MUCH SAFER AND....REALLY.....MUCH EASIER.

you can buy this stuff called "sun in" and its like 4 dollars at walmart or anywhere and you just spray it in and you can either blowdry your hair or sit in the sun, or both. it works.
