Does anybody know how to updo your hair with bobby pins.?

I have short-medium length hair and I want to put the upper part of it back. Ive seen when people have it twisted and then pinned with bobby pins. Ive tried but cant get the bobby pins to stay. I need a video or something to show me how. Could anyone help?

Put hair up into a TIGHT pony. Then, if the bobby pins aren't staying, try tucking them in under the pony tail. Of course, spray with hair spray as well. And, once done, spray all over with hair spray.

If: yr hair is thick %26amp; long enough, then it will hold the pins.

twist hair with (left) hand. Twist it close to scalp.

Insert the pins to catch part of the roots %26amp; part of twist.

I think I pinned from top of twist down.

The best way to get the bobby pins to stay is first put them in straight up and down then slide them into the hairstyle. That way they are at the scalp. It takes practice. If you have a friend that will let you practice on their hair it will help. It makes it a lot easier if you can see what you are doing. Then when you do it on your hair you can feel what you're doing.
