I have medium brown hair, fare skin with freckles and have brown/hazel eyes.

since your hair is already med bround you should get light brown highlights it would go with your eyes

It's not natural and very harmful to the hair folicle.

Try lemon juice and sunlight.

Otherwise I highly recommend a wash in shampoo for color.
