Dying hair?

My hair is medium brown black and I want to dye it to brown/black(the darkest brown can get). I've never dyed my hair before. If I get my hair dyed to that color am I suppose to bleach my hair 1st, why? If I don't have to, why?

If ur going to dye it a darker color then u don't need to bleach it, or if ur going a lil bit lighter.

hehe.....die your hair, dont bleach it, and then get the hair cut. why would you bleach it if youre going darker?

get your hair cut 1st abd you dont need bleach to die it darker only need blech to die it lighter and to take care of it use tressemme hair color shampoo and conditioner

well if you want to do it do it in a salon it better there and cute you hair first then bleach it

If you're dying your hair a darker colour than your natural colour then bleaching isn't necessary. So don't do that as it would more than likely make dying your hair a darker colour more difficult. Just dye the hair and then get it cut if the ends are dry/damaged, or if you have split ends. Hope this helps.
