I want to do something different with my hair! HELP!!!?

I have medium brown hair and it's almost elbow length. I want some red in it and want it cut but I don't want it really short.

Any ideas??

how about just adding a couple of red streaks to it -do it subtle so not to look too odd

leave your hair the same length - you'll regret it if you cut it - I know I do

get layers put in....that is a simple, classic solution. and there are so many ways to do layers, its easy to be original. be cautious when coloring your hair. if you end up not liking the color, your dont want to have to keep dying it(when your roots start showing, it will look awful) just ask your stylistist to accent your hair with red. she'll know what you mean. good luck!

cut it too about maybe 3in. below your ears. Add like a brown,red,and black color mixed together and use that as a streak

you should cut it a little then see if you like it stick with it if you wont it shorter cut it more then if you wont it longer let it grow out wen you dissed what you want put red streeks in your hair.

the avatar of koko who answered,i like her hair,you can cut it that way.if you do some red let it be equal to the brown,so that it doesn't show which is the color and which is the hightlighhts.try by a washable hair mascara first till u decide how much red u want.good luck
