How do i make my hair naturally lighter blonde?

i tried the lemon juice thing and it didnt work that great, plus i was being attacked by flies and bugs attracted to the citris. i have medium blonde hair, some sections are just lighter for some reason. is there another way to make it get naturally highlighted? does just laying in the sun work? thanks in advance! =)

One thing that I used to do is.....wet your hair, then coat it with that spray-on leave-in conditioner. Then I would go into the sun and play like basketball at my house or lay out......after a few times of that, you'll definently have them!!

the lemon juice way is the only thing that works. did you do it correctly? you should have 1 part lemon juice and 3 parts water, mixed it and put it into a spray bottle. you then need to spray it on, and then sit in the sun for like 30-40min. after you put it on. or just dye your hair. you can probably also use shampoos that add blondness to your hair, but the lemon juice way is the only natural, and probably the easiest way to go!!

Well since the lemon juice didn't work, try SUN IN. You can get it at wal-mart for like $2-3.00. Just spray it on your hair and go out into the sun. It works pretty good. Thats the only natural way I can think of.

hey... i have medium blonde hair also i would deff recommend sun-in you can get it at rite aid, cvs, walgreens, target, walmart... their are two dif kinds the lemon kind brings out ur natural highlights... and it works!!! after two days in the sun you can see a major diff... but you put it in your hair and lay out for a few hours! lemon juice didnt work for me either but this deff does!
